A thriving New Brunswick – and a thriving St. Andrews! - is driven by a thriving workforce that is well-trained and responsive to emerging needs and opportunities. NBCC has an important role to play in developing this workforce as the vast majority of our graduates live and work in New Brunswick.
As opportunities emerge in new sectors, NBCC is able to respond to labour market needs both through the responsiveness of our quality, relevant programs, and also through contract training opportunities for industry. Today we offer 90 programs in our campuses across the province. While our St. Andrews campus is the smallest of our six campuses, it offers a large selection of programs in areas such as Business, Health, Information Technology, Social Sciences and Trades. The Campus is especially known for its Hospitality and Tourism program – not surprising given its location in one of Canada’s most beautiful tourist destinations! Aquaculture Technician, Marine Diesel Mechanic and Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician programs are also unique to our St. Andrews Campus. NBCC’s Applied Research and Innovation activities are also creating new opportunities for the campus and the community such as NBCC’s collaboration with the Dragonfly Centre for Autism and the Huntsman Marine Science Centre.
NBCC’s passion for public college education and training, our student-centred purpose and values, the competent and hard work of our employees, our partnerships, and our strategic focus are key ingredients for success as we work to transform lives and communities.
