A vibrant community, year-round

St. Andrews by-the-Sea truly is a year-round town with lots of recurring seasonal events and activities. The time frame of your visit should coincide with the activities you want to pursue. Please keep an eye on the organizers’ websites and social media for dates and Covid-19 related updates.

On behalf of the Explore St. Andrews – Tourism Board, we are excited to announce that applications for funding for 2023 festivals and events are now open!  Please click and read below guidelines and send all completed grant application forms or any questions directly to Chelsea Belyea at chelsea@kingsbraegarden.com or to Christy Kennedy at contact@treadwellinn.com.

Fall

A Burger & Beer Week in St. Andrews by-the-Sea, featuring Burger specials around town and a Craft Beer Festival in Centennial Park.

Fall displays for Family photos, Fun Activities, Pumpkins to take home and much more.

With something for everyone, this food and wine festival will not disappoint.


Dress in your best costume and celebrate Halloween with your favourite Bay of Fundy creatures!


Paddlefest, Periwrinkle Productions, and the Huntsman Marine Science Centre present this year-around concert series that takes place at the Dunn Theatre.

The 2nd Annual Dragonboat Festival “Race by-the-Sea” is taking place on September 23, 2023 at Katy’s Cove. Find more information here.

St. Andrews Farmers' Market

The St. Andrews Farmers’ Market welcomes you EVERY Thursday from 8:30am to 1:00pm, May 25th – October 5th 2023 outdoors in the Town’s Market Square.

Charlotte County Pride

2023 Charlotte County Pride is taking place in St. Andrews from June 10 to 17. Join us for a whole week of fantastic Pride Events.

Broadway by-the Sea returns to St. Andrews. Sweet Dreams – The Air Supply Musical is taking place on June 10, 2023 and the Broadway by-the Sea Musical Revue Concert is happening on August 26, 2023 at KIRA Amphitheatre.

Enjoy Sunday Island concerts on Ministers Island from June to September. This Concert Series is an awesome way to enjoy the summer.  Ticket includes island access, concert, and island parking.

Celebrate Canada Day in St. Andrews. This is one of the largest Canada Day celebrations in the province. The full event schedule for 2023 is TBA. Canada Day with Matt Anderson at KIRA Amphitheatre. 

The St. Andrews Arts Council is enriching communities with educational and performing arts workshops and events in Opera, Choir, Drama, Dance, and Instrumental Music. Take a look at their event schedule here. 

KIRA and Kingsbrae Garden are bringing in a stellar group of some of Canada’s top comedic talents to entertain and delight you at the KIRA Amphitheater on July 14 &15.

Artists by the Sea is an annual event raising funds for Hospice of Charlotte County. Sales and silent auction during the 18th annual event in 2023 are taking place on July 15 & 16 at the Anglican Parish Hall.

Can’t get enough of antique shopping? The annual St. Andrews Antique Market is a must visit. This year’s market is taking place on August 6, 2023 in the Town’s Market Square.

Join us and see New Brunswick’s biggest talents perform live on stage at KIRA Amphitheatre on August 5. The winning performer will be crowned New Brunswick’s talent and receive a grand prize of $5000!

The 16th Annual Woodcarving Competition and Sale, organized by the NB Woodcarving Association, will be held from August 11 – 13 at Sir James Dunn Academy. Find more information here.
