The St. Andrews Chamber has minted the St. Andrews Trade Coins since 1976. Celebrating the establishment and development of the historically significant town of St. Andrews, these coins are the longest consecutive annual publication of its kind in Canada. 

Once utilized as actual trade currency in town, the coins are now a popular collectors item. The Chamber itself holds a full collection of Trade Coins and there is also one housed at the Bank of Canada Museum in Ottawa.

Purchase 2026 Bi-metal coins by contacting the Chamber or visit Saint Andrews Town Hall and other select local businesses for $6 each.

A limited amount of 2026 silver coins are also available for purchase from the Chamber for $95 each. 

The St Andrews Chamber Trade Coins offer a unique view of the town’s history and heritage and as well as being a great addition to your coin collection they are a wonderful keepsake of your time spent here in St. Andrews by-the-Sea.
