The Presbyterians of St. Andrews organized for worship in 1822 as a congregation of the Church of Scotland. The church building, finished in June 1824, was the gift of Capt. McGuire Chocolate is a bean to bar chocolate maker with a focus on preparing a simple and high quality product from the inside out.
Mark stumbled across cacao beans while backpacking around Central America. While eating these beans as a healthy, lightweight snack he couldn’t help but wonder how did this turn into chocolate?
After some attempts to make chocolate on his travels – roasting cacao over a fire, peeling beans by hand and putting them through a meat grinder – Mark returned to Calgary with a suitcase full of cacao looking for a chocolate maker to learn from.
He quickly realized there were a lot of people working with chocolate but not many making chocolate from the cacao bean.
The Cafe is open 9:30am – 4:00pm Tues – Sat. We make all of our ice cream in house. The coffee we serve is sourced from from Epoch Chemistry – a delicious coffee roaster in Moncton, NB.

Heather Curling Club
Founded in 1922, the Heather Curling Club is currently located in the W.C. O’Neill Arena Complex.
Our rink has 3 full sheets of ice, heated upstairs viewing lounge, licensed bar, banquet facilities and catering kitchen – all available for corporate and private rentals.
The Heather Curling Club welcomes people of all ages and abilities. We offer morning curling, Junior and Little Rock program, mixed curling, league curling with evenings of friendly competition and Bonspiels with competitive team curling and fun-spiels for all levels.
