The St. Andrews Chamber of Commerce was incorporated in 1968 with the objective of promoting and improving trade and commerce and the economic welfare of the district.

It is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors whose members are elected at the annual general meeting to serve a term of three years.

Les Knight Vice-President of the Chamber Board of Directors

Les Knight, President

Before moving permanently to St. Andrews in 2022, Les Knight was a lifelong Calgarian. In 2015, the pull of the maritimes and this great town convinced him and his husband Ken to buy property and build a home where they also operate The New Brunswick Bed and Breakfast.

Les’ professional background includes several customer-facing roles at Scotiabank and 17 years at WestJet Airlines, firstly as a flight attendant and more recently in fleet transition and acquisition roles.

He loves to bake, cook and travel, with a 10th cruise on the docket for 2024.

Carley Parish Chamber Board of Directors

Carley Parish, Vice-President

Carley Parish, originally from South Surrey, British Columbia, moved to New Brunswick in 2001 for law school. A proud Hampton resident since 2004, she lives with her husband Michel Boudreau.

Carley was among the first French immersion students in British Columbia and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology (Simon Fraser University, 2001), a Bachelor of Law (Université de Moncton, 2004), and is pursuing a Master of Law in Civil Law (Université de Laval).

Her accolades include the E. Neil McKelvey Q.C. Pro Bono Award (2019), Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers (2018), Hampton’s Community Leadership Award (2015), and induction into the North American Fastpitch Sports Hall of Fame (2014).

Actively involved in her community, she supports youth, local businesses, and vulnerable populations across Hampton and nearby areas. She has also served twice as President of the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Suren Yoga Nathan Chamber Board of Directors

Suren Yoga Nathan, Secretary/Treasurer

Suren Yoga Nathan works at the Multicultural Association of Charlotte County as Manager of Community Engagement.

He is focused on helping newcomers find a true level of acceptance and belonging within Charlotte County. Suren also provides newcomers with employment services and businesses with cultural/racial education programs.

Prior to CCMA, Suren worked on IRCC and PCH funded projects across Canada, leading seminars on diversity, competing rights, and issues relating to identity and belonging.

Brandy Atkinson, Director

Brandy is a dynamic and results-driven leader in the Canadian hospitality sector, currently serving as the Director of Sales & Marketing at The Algonquin Resort, Autograph Collection. With over five years of progressive, high-level experience in managing sales, marketing, and revenue generation for luxury resorts, gaming organizations, and large conference venues across the country, Brandy brings a wealth of executive-level insight to the St. Andrews business community.

​Brandy’s expertise is centered on the three pillars critical to the Chamber’s success: Strategic Planning, Marketing, and Event Management. Throughout her career, including Director-level roles with national chains, she has consistently demonstrated the ability to create multi-million-dollar budgets, execute sophisticated regional marketing campaigns, and drive significant revenue growth. Her professional focus on attracting both luxury travel and major conferences positions her uniquely to understand and champion the needs of St. Andrews’ core tourism industry.

​As a current leader within a cornerstone Chamber member—The Algonquin Resort—Brandy is committed to proactive involvement in the local economy. She seeks a position on the Board of Directors to utilize her extensive background to promote tourism, strengthen community relationships, and actively support the growth and success of small businesses within the region.

Dominique Berlenger Chamber Board of Directors

Dominique Berlenger, Director

Dominique Berlenger is the owner of Berlenger Enterprises Inc. and the owner of the Kennedy House since November 1, 2022. The Kennedy House is currently undergoing renovations after a long career in franchise, retail, and restaurants. 

Dominique is an Internationalist who has lived in the United States of America, The Netherlands, Hungary, and Switzerland. Dominique moved from Belgium to St. Andrews in June 2022. He is married to Mieke, and father to Margot and Frédéric.

Kate Bucca, Director

Dr. Kate Roberts Bucca is a neurodivergent writer, editor, visual artist, and educator, and the co-owner and creative director of Bucca dell’Acqua in St. Andrews.

Prior to opening an independent bookstore with their husband Dominic, Kate taught at the middle school, high school, and graduate levels; served as an editorial assistant, research assistant, and administrative assistant across higher education; evaluated manuscripts for a literary agent; and worked as a paralegal and pastry chef.

Kate holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Studies, with a focus on inclusive education, new materialsms, and arts-based research, from the University of Prince Edward Island; a Master of Education in Leadership in Learning, also from UPEI; and a dual-genre Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Kate is passionate about co-creating inclusive spaces that foster a sense of belonging and believes in the power of artistic expression to build understanding and effect change.

When not running the bookstore or supply teaching, Kate typically can be found reading, writing, making art, cooking, or dreaming about gardening.

Lisa Eldridge, Director

Lisa was born and raised in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. In 1995 she and her late husband, John endeavoured on entrepreneurship and opened their current business Quoddy Link Marine Inc. specializing in whale and wildlife viewing on the Bay of Fundy!

After 31 years in business, Lisa proudly continues to own and operate Quoddy Link Marine Inc.

Trudy Fitzgerald Chamber Board of Directors

Trudy Fitzgerald, Director

Trudy Fitzgerald has over 25 years experience in the hospitality industry and customer service.

She is originally from St. Andrews and enjoys the community spirit of a small town. Trudy also enjoys volunteering and has been involved in the Canada Day Parade for over 10 years.

In her spare time Trudy teaches yoga and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Kim Garron, Director

Kim Garron is a seasoned hospitality professional with extensive experience in education, operations, and consulting within the hospitality industry. Currently serving as an Instructor in Hospitality & Tourism at New Brunswick Community College (NBCC), she has dedicated over two decades to training future industry leaders in areas such as food and beverage management, event planning, and human relations. Kim’s instructional expertise includes teaching wine, spirits, food pairing, and supervising practical training environments.

In addition to her academic roles, Kim is a respected hospitality consultant, offering specialized services to restaurateurs on startup strategies, menu development, standard operating procedures, and employee training.

A recognized leader in her community, Kim has received awards, including the 2024 Tourism Excellence Award from the Chamber of Commerce of St. Andrews, and holds various certifications in food and beverage management, responsible beverage service, and food safety. She is actively involved in community initiatives, serving on boards and volunteering in charitable activities.

Kim’s educational background includes a Diploma in Accommodation, Food & Beverage from NBCC, along with certificates in food and beverage management, adult education, and international specialty training in Austria. Her passion for hospitality, education and service excellence continues to inspire her students and colleagues alike.

Chris Jones Chamber Board of Directors

Chris Jones, Director

Chris Jones is the founder and CEO of CANNABIS XPRESS, a chain of 22 profitable cannabis retail stores across Canada, with 14 in Ontario and 8 in New Brunswick. He was the first to open a private cannabis store in New Brunswick and remains the province’s largest private retailer by revenue and store count. Previously, Chris founded and sold a cannabis retail company prior to starting CX.

Before retail, he was part of a team leading acquisitions and investments at a publicly traded cannabis investment company called Origin House, which was acquired by Cresco Labs. Chris has also taught Cannabis Business Strategy at George Brown College. Chris holds an MBA from the Degroote School of Business at McMaster University and a BComm from Ted Rogers School of Management. He has also worked in finance and business development at EllisDon, Aecon, and a boutique law firm.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys traveling, learning Spanish, walking his dog, exercising, and is undefeated in Muay Thai.

Kaitlin Kwochka, Director

Kaitlin Kwochka is the co-owner of Dominion Hill Country Inn, a boutique hospitality and events destination in the Bocabec area. With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, she has built her career around creating spaces where people can gather, celebrate, and connect.

As a first-time business owner and a new member of the community, Kaitlin is eager to contribute her experience and fresh perspective to support local growth. She believes that her outside viewpoint can help maintain the unique character of the region while encouraging new opportunities for collaboration and development.

Kaitlin is passionate about connecting with other local business leaders, learning from their experiences, and sharing her own insights from years in service and hospitality management. She looks forward to helping the Chamber continue its work in fostering a vibrant, welcoming, and thriving business community.

Don Menton, Director

Don, with his wife Jenny, has been the owner operator of Chamcook Forest Lodge since 1990.

He has previously served as a St Andrews Chamber of Commerce board member, contributing on the Trade Coin, town map layout & format and trails & outdoor recreation promotion.

Don is a Board member on the Coastal Link Trail Inc. promoting the connection of a cycling and walking trail between St. Stephen & Saint John, thereby connecting the Trans-Canada Trail with the East Coast Greenway Trail (Maine to Florida). Successful in negotiating with NB Department of Transportation & Infrastructure (DTI) when resurfacing the paving 1-1.5 meter shoulders of NB 127 approaching & (in the future) departing Saint Andrews.

Don has served as Board member on the Van Horne Trail Inc. (deactivated) promoting the development of the abandoned railway line departing Saint Andrews into a community based recreational trail.

He also coordinated the 2022 contribution of St Andrews Trade Coins to the Bank of Canada – National Collection.

Sierra Reibling, Director

Sierra Reibling works as the Executive Assistant at Kingsbrae Garden Horticulture Inc., an award-winning garden in St. Andrews.

During a one-week vacation in 2011, she was completely captivated by the character and charm of St. Andrews, which quickly led her to become a resident in a couple short weeks.

Sierra primarily works with the Directors and Management team overseeing the financial operations under the Kingsbrae family-owned businesses, not-for-profit, charity, and for-profit businesses.

Sierra is also on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Garden Council.

Paul Logan President of the Chamber Board of Directors

Paul Logan, Past President

Born and raised in St. Andrews by-the-Sea, Paul is a local Realtor who brings both community price and industry knowledge to the table.

He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Finance from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax and went to work in Agriculture with Cargill Inc., the Alberta Government in Commercial Real Estate and the Edmonton Automotive Industry.

After seven years, Paul has returned to his beloved hometown to begin his career in real estate and most importantly be involved in his community.

Paul is also a part of the Kiwanis Club, sits on the Board of Directors of the Algonquin Golf Course, and coaches youth curling.

Paul loves playing golf, curling, enjoying his cottage at Chamcook Lake and is a lobster roll connoisseur!
